A Bit About Us

The Tempsford Museum opened its doors in July 2013 and became a Charitable Incorporated Organisation in 2017. Since our opening, the museum has steadily become a focal point of Tempsford Village and a friendly monthly gathering place for past and present villagers. Many have become “Friends of the Tempsford Museum” and enjoyed its benefits. Over the years, we have earned the trust of many, who have donated their precious family photographs, documents and ephemera, to the safe-keeping of our archives.  The trustees have through prudent management of their finances, been lucky to have purchased on the open market, items of historic value and connection to Tempsford Village and RAF Tempsford. We pride ourselves that we are able to secure these precious items for the long term preservation of Tempsford’s History and for making the items we hold available for all to see in the future. We look forward to welcoming all our visitors to the Tempsford Museum and Archives and hope that you will also enjoy our team serving you with our Home Baked Cakes and refreshments in our Tea Room.
